The puzzle of The Yakuza Remastered Collection finally completed with Yakuza 5 Remastered, the final piece, arriving today.

If you’ve already owned The Yakuza Remastered Collection, it’s time to get yourself ready for another dramatic adventure in Kazuma Kiryu’s life in Yakuza 5 Remastered. Featuring a bigger world than its predecessors, Yakuza 5 makes Kazuma get back to the criminal underworld after a temporary peace in his life.

The Yakuza Remastered Collection, including Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 will cost you $59.99 with current-gen-style graphics and some quality-of-life improvements. In addition to 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second support, SEGA has reworked the game’s localization settings, including adding some new English scripts to the game and rewriting the old ones. The collection also unlocks some parts of the game that were not available for western countries at the original launch. As for Yakuza 3, now players will have access to Mahjong, Shogi, Massage Parlor, and Cabaret mini-games.

For the veteran fans of the series, SEGA has prepared a special Day One edition which includes all the three Yakuza titles in two discs, along with a red case designed by Kazuma’s iconic dragon tattoo.

The next entry in the Yakuza series has already been announced as Yakuza 7: Like A Dragon that won’t feature Kazuma as the lead protagonist, however, the game is still set in Japan and focused on the country’s infamous criminal groups. The game has already launched in Japan, but western edition will be available sometime this year.

In order to celebrate the game’s launch, SEGA has also released a launch trailer for the game, showcasing all the adventures you’re going to get through in Yakuza 3, 4, and 5. You can check it out down below:

Currently, there’s no news on whether Yakuza 5 Remastered will be available on PC or not, but it would probably hit steam sooner or later similar to Yakuza Kiwami.
