The day is here! The promised 50% World of Warcraft experience buff has arrived. But wait, it was for the other version. Earlier this summer, Blizzard announced through a blue post that the classic version of World of Warcraft would get a buff. Why? Well, as we know, the Lich King Classic version is coming out this year. In that post, the World of Warcraft Classic Experience Buff was announced. So, imagine the surprise of everyone to see there is a buff this week, but for the other version. Also, said buff that went active not long ago was not announced by the company.

World of Warcraft Experience Buff Will Last For A Few Weeks

With Blizzard announcing that they wanted to do better, it is fun to see an announced buff kick-off today. WoW experience buff will last for a few weeks and will give players a 50% experience increase. This will affect characters between levels 1 to 59. While the buff is welcome, no one was expecting it. At least not the players who are playing the retail version. The World of Warcraft Classic experience buff is nowhere to be found. On their social media account, Blizzard said that they hadn’t forgotten about their classic players. But, seeing that it is another week without the buff, the majority of people are disappointed.

While no one is unable to level right now, people are waiting for the buff because we know that Classic was a lot harder to level through. The World of Warcraft Classic experience buff would make the process a lot faster. Especially for those who want other characters ready for the re-launch of Lich King. Yet, the players of the retail version have a World of Warcraft experience buff that seems way ahead of the next expansion release. It is difficult to see what Blizzard is planning. While this buff is something players want, they should’ve announced it first and not let their other community in the dark. All that Classic players can do right now is wait for the buff to arrive one of these days.
