Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers just received the free Games with Gold titles for April. Telltale’s choice-and-consequences adventure game, The Wolf Among Us, is joined by Visceral Games horror shooter, Dead Space as the first free downloads of the month.
The Wolf Among Us will be available to download free on the Xbox One through April 30. Meanwhile, Dead Space is free for Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners through April 15.
Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers should also be aware that Lords of the Fallen is still part of the Games with Gold program through April 15.
The Wolf Among Us from Telltale Games is based on the Fables comics by Bill Willingham and published by Vertigo. The episodic series received critical acclaim for its mature and violent look at the fairytale stories from our youth. The plot revolves around Bigby Wolf (aka the Big Bad Wolf) investigating a series of murders as Sheriff of Fabletown. There’s more going on than meets the eye though.
Dead Space was a surprise hit when it launched back in 2008. The science-fiction survival horror title packs plenty of gore along with some terrifying moments. The third-person shooter has held up well over the years and should provide an interesting look back for those that weren’t able to experience it the first time around.
