When completing quests in the virtual world of The Witcher: Monster Slayer, players will need to travel to a real-world location to hunt the evil, mythical creatures that virtually reside there. While the in-game live tracking feature should work without issue, sometimes a quest will be in a location or area where the player cannot enter. For example, no one would want to walk down a dubious alleyway or bustling highway just to kill a monster. In these types of situations, changing the placement of the quest will definitely be the better option. Read on to learn how to how to relocate quests in The Witcher: Monster Slayer.

Relocating Quests in The Witcher: Monster Slayer

To relocate quests in The Witcher: Monster Slayer, open the in-game Journal and select the active quest. Press the “Relocate” button, and the quest’s location should move to another spot nearby. If the quest spawns in another inaccessible area, repeat the steps.

To open the Journal, first press the arrow button at the bottom of the screen. A few options should appear, one of which is a book icon labeled “Journal.” Within the Journal, choose the quest that needs relocating. Pressing the Relocate button will automatically move the active quest’s location to another spot within the vicinity.

However, there may be an instance when the Relocate button is grayed out. In this case, the player’s current position is too close to the quest for relocation. Moving further away from the quest should permit the button to turn to gold, which means the relocate option is available.

The world of The Witcher: Monster Slayer is a brutal and treacherous place, but the area a quest is located could prove to be more dangerous if relocating precautions aren’t taken. After all, illegally winding up on someone’s private property isn’t worth the risk for slaying a ghoul.
