Ways To Level Up Fast in The Witcher: Monster Slayer

To speed up leveling in The Witcher: Monster Slayer, focus on questing, killing monsters, and clearing Nemeta every day. Parries, critical strikes, proper blade coatings, and timing are all crucial to maximizing the amount of XP gain from each encounter. The in-game store also provides scroll boosts and unique equipment to increase the rate at which experience is earned.

Quests are a fundamental way to obtain a decent amount of XP in The Witcher: Monster Slayer. While every quest may not yield the most coin, they will definitely compensate the player with lots of experience to add to the XP pool. Mass monster killing is also a great way to quickly level up. Every monster slain will generate a minimum of 100 XP, and every new encounter defeated will also add 100 XP on top of the base amount. Mythical beasts with a higher rarity can provide players with even more XP, ranging from the base 100 XP all the way to 600 XP for legendary monsters. Not to mention, there are various ways to earn bonus XP in battle.

  • Perfect parrying: 15 XP
  • Perfect critical hits: 15 XP
  • Proper blade coating/oil: 50 XP
  • Time bonus: 20 XP (time may vary)

Note that the bonus from parries and critical hits will be applied as long as the player performs them successfully only once during a fight.

The bonuses mentioned above also apply to Nemeta, the mini-dungeons of The Witcher: Monster Slayer. Clearing a Nemeton will reap 250 XP as well as the total experience gained from slaying the three monsters located within the cursed tree.

For players who are absolutely serious about power leveling their witcher, the A’Baeth Silver Sword and Kaer Morhen Armor are two choice pieces of gear that will bolster XP gain by 25% each. This means experience earned will increase by 50% if both are equipped. However, they do not come cheap. The in-game shop features these two advantageous pieces of equipment for a whopping 12,000 gold coins each. According to The Gamer, procuring the necessary funds to buy these two items will take around four months of gameplay while earning the maximum number of coins daily. Conversely, $50 in microtransactions could unlock the pair instantly.

Speaking of microtransactions, the final technique to level up fast in The Witcher: Monster Slayer is by purchasing the scroll boosts featured on the store’s Main tab. While any experience boost will provide a significant pay-to-win advantage in leveling, the recommended combination is coupling Experience Scroll with a Summoning Scroll. This will result in a doubled-experience gain for 30 minutes while summoning five monsters directly to the player’s position. Using either or both of these two boosts will guarantee a noticeable rate of increase in leveling.
