The Witcher 3 is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch. You heard that right, The Witcher 3 is coming to the Switch. This was announced during the Nintendo Direct at E3 today and what’s more, it’s coming this year. Quite how the Switch is able to run this is anyone’s guess, it really is a little magic box of tricks.

The Witcher 3 first released back in 2015 so Nintendo fans have had quite the wait to get their hands on it, however, they will be getting the complete edition, meaning not only will it be the core experience, it will have the expansions too. That’s not a bad trade-off. Plus being able to play The Witcher on a bus will be something truly special.

Not too much was shown besides a brief trailer, but you can take a look at this for yourselves:

While only a short trailer it does give us a glimpse of the promise to come and even though it can’t begin to match the more powerful consoles in terms of looks the game seems to look much better than it has any right to. Thankfully, we won’t have too long to wait as The Witcher 3 launches at some point this year.
