Clementine’s journey in Telltale’s The Walking Dead series will soon be coming to an end with the debut of The Walking Dead: The Final Season, shambling to a system near you this August.

The four episodes that spell out the end of this long-running journey, which previously spanned 19 additional vignettes, will be debuting August 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

This season follows an older, grizzled Clementine who’s even more world-weary than ever before as she discovers a secluded school that may be one of her only chances at finding something like a permanent home. Along with a young orphan boy named AJ, she’ll have to build her own life there and take on more of a leadership role than she’s ever had before, as things become even more severe than her past adventures throughout The Walking Dead game series.

These new episodes will feature updated mechanics, including a new over-the-shoulder camera system that allows you more freedom of movement, as well as 4K resolution and HDR support. Hopefully they also cut down on the bugs that typically plague many new Telltale releases as well, as those can mar the experience significantly upon release.

You can pre-order the game as of June 8 on all platforms, but if you do so on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you’ll get access to The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which features all prior episodes for you to play through and get caught up with. You’ll also have access to each of the new episodes as they release throughout the year. If you opt to pre-order on PC, you’ll get 10 percent off the game via Steam, GOG, GamersGate, or the Humble Store. All pre-order offers are good up until August 14, so make it happen if you’re interested.

Here’s to you, Clementine! You’ll surely be missed at the end of it all.
