Between The Walking Dead season 10 and Invincible, Robert Kirkman has been in the spotlight a lot recently. While he’s been chatting about these projects a lot in interviews, the writer has also been teasing the return of fan-favorite Clementine along the way. For those of you unaware, Clementine is the protagonist of Telltale’s The Walking Dead comic series.  The game released its final season back in 2018, but fans have been awaiting more of the character since the conclusion.

During a recent Reddit Ask-Me-Anything, the writer answered hundreds of questions about his work, but gamers will be particularly satisfied with his answers about Clementine. When one fan asked him about her return, he answered, “Stay tuned.” Additionally, when another fan asked a similar question, he replied, “There will be Clementine news before the end of this year. That’s all I will say.”

Hey, people! I’ll be answering ALL your questions in my third @reddit AMA this Friday (tomorrow) at 1pm PT. Except the Ones that could be Invincible spoilers. Everything else is fair game! (gulp) pic.twitter.com/IMZPdXyO1Y

Now, this raises even more questions. Could there be another season of the Telltale game? It’s entirely possible that they could stretch Clementine’s story into another medium. With the game being set within the comics universe, they could create a comic. As it stands, a movie or a TV show seems rather unlikely. However, some fans believe we could see her show up in AMC’s upcoming spinoff show, Tales of The Walking Dead.
