If you are looking for ways to expand your Steam library and spend your hard-earned cash at the end of the month, good news. The Steam Autumn Sale 2020 is now open! The Autumn Sale is running from November 25 to December 1. Meanwhile, according to a leaked Steam newsletter, the Steam Winter Sale will start on December 22 and end on January 5, 2021.

It’s a good time to catch up with new titles you missed out on like Resident Evil 3, Doom: Eternal, The Outer Worlds, or Persona 4. Especially since a lot of them are being discounted for up to 75% off. There are also four new Autumn-themed profile items in the Points Shop to decorate your profile with a festive look. Orange and Yellow Leaves avatar frames, Autumn Color mini-profile background, and Autumn Leaves profile background. All for 2,000 points each.

In addition to the Steam Autumn Sale, Valve is running the Steam Awards Nominations as well. Voting will open during the Winter Sale and winners are to be announced on January 3. As usual, there are 10 categories to nominate your favorite games and/or 2020 releases:

  • Game of The Year Award.
  • VR Game of The Year Award.
  • Labor of Love Award, the best game that keeps getting updated to this day.
  • Better With Friends Award, for best co-op or multiplayer games.
  • Outstanding Visual Style Award, games that have the most interesting (doesn’t have to be the most realistic) visual.
  • Most Innovative Gameplay Award.
  • Best Game You Suck At Award, the titles you love to hate.
  • Best Soundtrack Award, for games with the most banger soundtracks.
  • Outstanding Story-Rich Award, games with the most emotional stories.
  • Sit Back And Relax Award, and the perfect game to play after a Thanksgiving diner.
