The Mandalorian has dropped a new trailer and it’s wild. The opening scene depicts a universe where Stormtroopers are being put into the ground. Helmets displayed on pikes, or maybe there are heads in there? Whoa. Whatever the case, the new trailer shows a lot, but still tells us little. Most fans will likely agree that it’s a great trailer because of that fact. I doubt anyone wants to know every little detail about what’s to come with the heavily anticipated series. Thus this might be the perfect second preview of what’s to come, depending on whom you ask. You can see the trailer down below:

The Mandalorian Gives a Beatdown

The action seems like it will be there as well as the fanfare. IG-88, a fan-favorite character over the years, made a cool blaster move with his “trailer debut.” Not to be outdone by our droid pal, our Mandalorian had plenty of coolness to display. Blaster fights, mixed in with the perfect overarching background dialogue. Filled with Stormtrooper beatdowns, big monsters, and plenty of larger than life looking characters. The Mandalorian’s second trailer is here to hook us in while leaving us wanting more. Mission accomplished in that regard, especially with a brief appearance of Carl Weathers and Gina Carano’s characters. Speaking of leaving us wanting more, there appears to be a surprising scene showing some Super Battle Droids, origin story maybe?

Though most of the trailer is focused on the action-packed Star Wars universe that we crave, the back quarter of the trailer goes for the jugular (so to speak). Make no mistake, The Mandalorian intends to be Star Wars filled entertainment. However, if later scenes are any indication, it also intends to win your heart over. Prepare for the feels! In addition, the trailer had plenty of gorgeous Star Wars locales. The ones that you look at and go,  “I want to be there”. With the live-action series just a couple of weeks away, the hype and mystery around the series continues to grow. Will this be the last trailer? Or will we be surprised with a final drop right before launch?

The Mandalorian hits the new streaming platform of Disney+ on the day of its release on November 12th, 2019.
