Shady Glade, or Rocky Road, which path is best for this gawky pair?

In Supermassive Games’ The Quarry, you’re presented with a wealth of choices and paths you can take, some are mundane, while some can be a matter of life or death in this narrative horror game.  The story is told through the perspective of several personable teenage protagonists planning out their last hurrah for the summer before going their separate ways, and each character’s personality and background are fleshed out over time.  Two characters, Nick and Abi, experience a crossroads in chapter 2 which you must choose from, either the Rocky Road or Shady Glade path.  Which Path Should You Choose for Nick and Abigail in The Quarry?  Read more to find out!

Should You Choose Shady Glade or Rocky Road in The Quarry?

While the choice has no immediate consequences and leads to the same place, choosing each path naturally presents different events to each character, and this means neither path is a bad path to take. Shady Glade, for instance, has 2 clues you’d otherwise miss if you don’t take it, the Trail Camera and Ranger Box, the former posted on a tree, the latter near the opposite end of the glade.  Shady Glade is certainly a quicker, more straightforward path, while Rocky Road is more daunting, but you shouldn’t let it deter you from looking around.

Whichever path you choose, be sure to look everywhere, and this stands for the rest of the game because if you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll spot tarot cards, clues, and evidence to piece together the plot or save a life.  Trophy and achievement hunters will want to turn every area upside down for this game to discover everything.
