During the Summer Game Fest awards segment, players were treated to a trailer for the Supermassive Games release, The Quarry. The new horror title will arrive on most devices tomorrow, June 10th. The trailer revealed during Summer Game Fest was meant to get fans excited for the new title before release, with reviews already arriving online. The new multiplayer horror title will have players working together to save the lives of several characters facing an unknown threat stalking them.

With nine different characters to take control of, players can work together in multiplayer and will have to survive once they find themselves being hunted. The trailer eludes to some sort of conspiracy surrounding a local family and some kind of entity stalking them as they try and survive. Unlike The Dark Pictures franchise, The Quarry will have a lengthier story in comparison. But it will still have the players making choices that will decide the fates of the nine characters in The Quarry.

Decide on the fates of nine people in this horror game.

With reviews already out, there has been lots of praise but a fair amount of criticisms regarding the controversial implementation of the Death Rewind mechanic. This mechanic is available at different times with different versions of the game. The deluxe version has it from the beginning and the standard unlocking it after completion. With reviews rolling out and a release tomorrow, it will be up to the players to decide on the new Supermassive Games release, The Quarry.

If you are interested in picking up The Quarry after checking out the trailer and reading, you can find it on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox One & Series X|S for $59.99 for the standard edition and $79.99 for the deluxe edition.
