The official release date for the second episode of the third season of the Disney animated series, The Owl House has been confirmed per cable listings. The Owl House season 3 episode 2, titled For The Future, will officially air on January 21, 2023, on Disney Channel at 9 PM ET.

The Owl House Season 3 Episode 2 For The Future: What We Know So Far
Season 3 is the final season of the popular Disney animated television series The Owl House and will consist of three 44-minute specials following the news of the show’s cancellation by Disney. The first episode, titled Thanks To Them, officially aired on October 15, 2022, following confirmation by show creator Dana Terrace.
While Terrace has not explicitly confirmed the releases for For The Future on her social media as she did for Thanks To Them, upcoming Disney Channel cable listings point to the second episode of the third season airing on January 21, 2023, at 9 PM. This would line up with previous reports of the last two specials airing in early 2023.
The official synopsis for For The Future was also released a while back, but no official release date was known at the time:
Luz and friends open the portal to the Demon realm, but now they have bigger and stronger problems to deal with.
Thanks To Them ended with Luz and co. finally discovering a way back to the Demon realm to face off against the Collector, and fans can expect the group to uncover what happened to the characters of Eda, King, Raine, and others once For The Future finally airs.
At this time, it is unknown when the final episode of The Owl House season 3 will air, but there is at least some reported information about it. We suggest you take this information with a grain of salt until a more official announcement is made.
The episode is apparently titled Watching and Dreaming, and the synopsis reads as follows: Luz faces her final conflict in an attempt to bring peace to the Demon Realm.
It is quite vague, though that is likely on purpose, and once again, no official release date is known at this time other than the fact that it will air sometime in early 2023, after For The Future.
