One Piece Odyssey is almost here, and the teams behind the upcoming single-player RPG have put together a launch trailer. Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are dealing with a new wave of trouble with multiple arcs being combined into one expansive experience. Snippets of the Alabasta, Water Seven, Marineford, and Dressrosa storylines are on display, along with some action to boot. We’ve attached the footage below for you to check out, coupled with the official platforms that are confirmed.

Dive into the World of One Piece Odyssey with New Footage

The launch trailer for One Piece Odyssey is entirely backed with “We Are” by composer Motoi Sakuraba. An epic presentation thus unfolds, with the Straw Hat Pirates going up against an array of foes. Across different landscapes and fantastic scenes, our heroes embrace their grand adventures with a few arcs from the beloved manga and anime. As they embark on their titular odyssey, players, both familiar and new, will experience a pure One Piece journey.

Don’t expect to hear any voice-acting in the trailer, by the way. Since “We Are” supports all of the footage, it’s only the music that viewers will get to hear. Aside from the One Piece Odyssey launch trailer, there are other previous videos that delved into the gameplay and story aspects. They all provide a sufficient look into what to anticipate when the game finally releases.

One Piece Odyssey is coming to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms on January 13, 2023. Bandai Namco Entertainment is offering Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions for the title, which can be seen through this link. Additionally, there’s a demo for players to download if they wish to give the game a taste before making a purchase.
