A new trailer for the next Pokémon movie, Everyone’s Story, will premier this Sunday—with a brand new, never-before-seen Pokémon expected to be revealed alongside it.
The Pokémon is likely to be Zeraora, an Electric-type Mythical Pokémon that is currently hidden inside of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon’s files. The Pokémon was originally datamined when the game released late last year.
Zeraora was one of many new Pokémon added in Ultra Sun and Moon alongside Ultra Necrozma, Dusk Mane Necroza, and Dawn Wings Necrozma. Zeraora is the only Pokémon out of all those that were leaked to not have an official release date at this time.
Not much is known about the trailer, which will air during Japanese Variety Show “Oha Suta” on Monday, April 9. While Zeraora could be the mystery Pokémon, it could also be a brand new Pokémon that might appear in the upcoming Nintendo Switch Pokémon game.
The Pokémon Company is keeping things a mystery, however, so fans will need to wait until Sunday to see what Pokémon appears in the trailer.
The next Pokémon movie, Everybody’s Story, hits Japanese Cinemas on July 13. It is unknown at this time if the movie will be released in the west.
