The Legend of Zelda Wii U promises to have cutscenes that will not disappoint you according to the game’s director.

Eiji Aonuma, who is the director of The Legend of Zelda Wii U, was recently interviewed by NintendoLife. While talking about Hyrule Warriors, feedback has been positive across the board as people “love the cutscenes” in the game. This has motivated Aonuma since he is working on the new Zelda Wii U game. He hopes the game can “hold its own” against Hyrule Warriors in regards to the cutscenes.

Hyrule Warriors has some voice acting so it will be interesting to see if The Legend of Zelda Wii U follows this trend. After all, most of the good Zelda games don’t feature traditional voice overs. Link on the other hand has been mostly a silent character. Whether or not the new game introduces full voice acting to the cutscenes remains to be seen. The small footage we saw from the game at E3 2014 is a small sign of the quality of the game’s graphics and cutscenes.

The Legend of Zelda Wii U releases in 2015 sometime. Not much else has been shared about the game with Nintendo currently promoting Hyrule Warriors. That being said, both games are said to have pretty cool cutscenes for you to enjoy.
