Ever since it was first announced, the big question surrounding the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD has been, how will it interact with Amiibo. The game, in many places, comes bundled with its own Wolf Link Amiibo figure, which was previously rumored to unlock the “Twilight Cave”. This was assumed to be a new dungeon within the game, giving Amiibo owners a big chunk of content to enjoy. A new leak from Japanese magazine Famitsu sheds some light on this area, giving a different name, while explaining some of the details.

According to a translation by Nintendo Inquirer, the Wolf Link Amiibo will unlock an area called the “Trial of the Beast”, which may be the same as the previously rumored Twilight Cave. Beating this area will have a few effects on your game, the biggest of which is unlocking the Bottomless Wallet, which raises the number of Rupees you can carry to 9999, a huge increase over the previous limit of 1000.

Famitsu also mentions that the number of hearts you have at the end of the Trial of the Beast will come into play. After defeating it, players can tap the Amiibo to the Gamepad and heal Link by the same number of hearts they had left at the end of the level. Presumably there will be some limitations as to how often you can use this, so we’ll have to wait for more details to surface on that front.

As far as other Zelda Amiibo figures, many will interact with The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD in different ways. Famitsu reports that using a Link or Toon Link Amiibo will replenish your arrows, while Zelda and Sheik will heal a few hearts. Conversely, tapping Ganondorf on the Gamepad will up the difficulty, making it so you take double damage from enemies.

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD will be released exclusively for Wii U on March 4th, 2016.
