The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been one of the most anticipated games ever since it was first unveiled at E3 a few years ago as a Wii U title. Since that time, the game has shifted to be a dual release on the Nintendo Switch and Wii U. There have been conflicting reports for awhile on when the game will come out, but now we finally know.

As revealed during the Nintendo Switch presentation in Tokyo, Japan tonight, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be indeed a launch title for the Nintendo Switch on March 3.

This is fantastic news for those looking to pick up the Nintendo Switch in March, as this version will be the best version of the game. Not only can you play this one at home on your TV, but also can be taken on the go, which is going to be fantastic for this new open world style of The Legend of Zelda.

We expect to learn even more about the Nintendo Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild, so make sure to stay tuned as they reveal even more during tomorrow’s Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation.
