A few hours ago, we got a very creative and fun video from Sony. In its latest live-action trailer, we got to see many of Sony’s first-party titles. Some of them are games that are coming this year and some that launched a while ago. While first believed to be fake, we got to see a new advertisement for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Final Fantasy 16. Besides that, we saw footage from previous games like God of War: Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West. Yet, the most surprising part of the video is what seems to be a teaser of a potential Uncharted game for the PS5.

Now, let’s keep in mind that this is just speculation, and nothing’s official yet. Those with a keen eye noticed that there’s a scene that resembles the Uncharted franchise a lot. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was the last title of the series and it did great. After that, the studio focused on different games and they did well too. But now, this video gives players hope of an upcoming Uncharted game for the PS5.

Delving a bit into spoiler territory, we know that Nathan Drake kind of retired after the fourth entry. However, he has a daughter that might as well follow in her father’s footsteps. In the video, we can see a female figure carrying a torch walking toward some sort of ancient artifact. Given how Sony’s Uncharted is the series that delves into these topics, people are hopeful about the return of the franchise. For now, there’s nothing official about an Uncharted game for the PS5 but dreaming doesn’t hurt at all. And, while we wait for news, remember that Sony’s lineup for 2023 is packed.
