A major controversy cropped up last night as soon as the official price was revealed for The Last of Us Remastered. Rather then the full priced $59.99 that it was listed as before on PSN, it was changed to $49.99 all of a sudden. However, this led to a slew of problems as gamers who had pre-ordered the game on PSN for the original price were being told that they would not receive a refund at all. Luckily, it appears that Sony has changed their tune after all the controversy on the matter.
The Last of Us Remastered will release for PlayStation 4 on July 29 through both retailers and the PlayStation Store for $49.99.
