PS4 gamers can now rejoice as The Last of Us Remastered has officially gone gold. The game is finished and now ready to be shipped worldwide.
A few weeks ago, Naughty Dog revealed that development for The Last of Us Remastered was finished. They were just awaiting for quality assurance certification. It appears the game is free of most bugs and issues and is ready to be distributed worldwide.
The Last of Us Remastered animator Mike Yosh tweeted its gold status. All he showed was a block of gold with the hashtags “#TheLastOfUs #PS4”. This is evidence that the game has finally gone gold in a funny way.
Now fans will have to wait until July 29th to play The Last of Us Remastered for themselves. Naughty Dog has been hard at work trying to make the game look as beautiful as possible. The game runs at 1080p and at a smooth 60fps. Naughty Dog feels there’s a huge graphical difference between the PS4 and PS3 versions.
Sales for The Last of Us Remastered are expected to be very good. Pre-orders have been described as strong since some PS4 owners have yet to play the original game on PS3. This is mainly because around 50 percent of PS4 owners never owned a PS3 before.
