In news that will certainly surprise some people, The Last of Us: Remastered has just received a new update three years after its release on PS4. The motive behind this patch seems to be taking advantage of the extra power of the PS4 Pro, and so the game will now offer players new graphic settings in order to get the biggest visual upgrade possible in both 1080p and 4K resolutions.
Entering in the details, the new patch available both for the main game and the stand alone Left Behind DLC lets PS4 Pro players to choose additional configurations for resolution, framerate, and shadow quality. These setting changes will be noticeable in both regular HD displays and 4K TVs. And that is not all, as the patch also provides some bug fixes and changes to the multiplayer mode Factions.

General:
- Modified PlayStation®4 Pro enhancements settings
- Added user options related to the PlayStation®4 Pro enhancement settings
Multiplayer:
- Fixed an issue that could cause a player to aim downward inadvertently
- Fixed an exploit where players could throw a smoke bomb to get inside of level collision
