Naughty Dog is well known for making games with spectacular set pieces and stunning cinematics. In fact, the developer has made a name for themselves this generation, setting a bar so high that only few have met. With the Last of Us, Naughty Dog may be raising that bar yet again, but there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to do this.
A recent series of videos released by the developer takes you from start to finish in one the game’s many cinematic moments. From the brainstorming of developers, to the motion capture and recording sessions necessary to produce the content, and finally what we consume in the end product. Many hours go into these short high quality portions of our favorite games, and this is how Naughty Dog is doing it with the Last of Us.
The Last of Us is due out in 2013 exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
