Today at Tokyo Game Show 2021, Capcom finally announced the fifth and last Capcom Collab Event Quest for Monster Hunter Rise, and that is Ghost ‘n Goblins, which will come out on October 29. The Monster Hunter Rise TGS 2021 stream shows how the armor will turn your Hunter into Ghost ‘n Goblins legendary knight and main character, Arthur.

Just like the August Akuma/Street Fighter collab, donning this armor will not just change your Hunter’s appearance to Arthur, but it also comes with unique animations: a special kunai throwing animation and a unique Quest Cleared pose. I don’t think there’s a special animation when we got hit or carted, unfortunately. Watch the cute new animations in the Monster Hunter Rise Ghost ‘n Goblins collaboration trailer below. Don’t forget to read all about the Monster Hunter Spotlight stream on our Everything Announced write-up.

The first Capcom Collab Event Quest launched on June 18. After facing Great Izuchi and Kulu-Ya-Ku in the Arena, the event quest will reward you with material to craft layered armor that turns your Palico into the Tsukino character from Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. If you have a save data of the game, you can also get a special Talisman and the Rider layered armor set for your Monster Hunter Rise hunter.

Although this is going to be the last Capcom Collab Event, the Monster Hunter Rise TGS 2021 stream also announced its first cross-company collaboration, and that is with SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog in November 2021. Previously the blue blur has crossed over into the series once in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, so returning event is not an entirely surprising choice. This time Rise‘s director Ichinose promises that it will be a different event quest than before and the team is working hard to make it as “fun as possible.”
