Fans of Hulu Network’s reality series The Kardashians are reacting to the news that the reality series will return to the screen for a season 3. Although The Kardashians season 2 finale aired just a couple of weeks ago, fans of the series are already preparing for a new season. Hulu agreed 40 episodes deal with the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, and with seasons 1 and 2 of The Kardashians just ten episodes each, there’s still more to come.

Although there hasn’t been an official announcement of a season 3 by Hulu, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters have confirmed the series is in production through various interviews. First, in an exclusive interview with E! News, Kourtney Kardashian Barker spilled the beans about a forthcoming third season. While speaking about her New York Fashion Week debut on September 13, she noted:

Also, Kylie Jenner teased fans about how she might change her baby’s name from Wolf in the forthcoming season during the season 2 finale. However, after the indication that the series will be returning for a third season, fans of The Kardashians took to social media to air their opinion about the new season.

“I’ve been filming season three here. We’re shooting season three now.”

Fans Criticize The Kardashians’ Script

Since The Kardashians aired in 2021, the reality series has yet to impress many fans. After the announcement of another season, a Reddit user, user u/complainwithme_, noted that what made the family’s former reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians so good was that fans got to see what goes on inside the family. Even though they were celebrities, it made them quite relatable to viewers. However, The Kardashians series needs to provide that.

Meanwhile, another Reddit user, u/abz937, cited how The Kardashians on Hulu feels so scripted and is not giving fans the inside scoop about the family like they used to.

Possible Storylines for The Kardashians season 3

“I think they will, too, but it will be fake manufactured bullshit. And the reality is that what originally drew a lot of fans was that we got to actually see inside their lives. Now it feels so scripted.”

Despite criticisms from some fans, other viewers of The Kardashians have been discussing the creative direction season 3 should take. Reddit user U/TryJezuzNotMe noted how filming in real time might solve the creativity issues the series is facing, noting:

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian also asked her fans on Twitter what aspect of the family they would like to see in season 3 of The Kardashians. Kim tweeted:

“In my opinion, what would help tremendously is filming in real-time. Since the internet is at everyone’s fingertips and they constantly do things to stay in the news, by the time it’s aired, we already know about it. They need to move away from the old way of using the concept- all news is good news because that’s not going to sustain them.”

The Kardashians season 2 ended with a setup for many great storylines in the forthcoming season, including Tristan’s relationship with Khloé and the motherhood journey of Khloé and Kylie as they welcomed new babies. Whichever creative way the series follows, The Kardashians season 3 will continue the legacy of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters as reality Tv royalties.

“What do you guys wanna see for season 3 of The Kardashians? Do you guys like family stuff? Work stuff? Kids stuff? BTS of shoots? Family pranks?”
