Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Robot Pumpkin Games have today released their highly intriguing Lovecraftian horror game called The Innsmouth Case.  The Innsmouth Case is a unique blend of traditional visual novels with a comedy-text-adventure format that is set in the wonderfully strange Lovecraft universe. 

The premise behind this odd game revolves around a detective whose job is to solve the enigmatic disappearance of little Tabitha Marsh. So the player will find themselves traveling to the remote fishing village of Innsmouth to begin their investigation. However, things will not be easy as throughout this game players will be taken on takes players on a humorous, and fantastical journey where the very definition of reality will be called into question. 

Players will also be in a constant game of cat in mouse with the sinister forces that lurk within and beneath the ocean. In this game, players will come face to face with horrors unimaginable, strange people with Gills and quite possibly a certain Father Dagon might also make an appearance. So it will be up to you the player to solve the case, find the girl, and to survive face to face with ominous forces that are beyond mortal comprehension. 

Your decisions will also matter and will have a permanent effect on the story that can result in a total of 27 endings.
