The Flash is a popular live-action superhero show with regulars. And while many enjoy certain characters, not all of them can stay. Some actors have left in the past for other projects. And the show will soon be down two of the most popular members of Team Flash.
Tom Cavanaugh and Carlos Valdez to Exit After Season 7
Tom Cavanaugh and Carlos Valdez have been regulars on The Flash for years. Valdez played the character of Cisco, who wielded the powers of superhero Vibe. Cavanaugh, on the other hand, played multiple incarnations of the character Harrison Wells. He got his start as the mentor to Cisco Ramon, who would later become Barry Allen’s best friend.
In the first episode of his final season, Cavanaugh’s Nash Wells made a huge sacrifice. In exchange for Nash’s life, Barry was able to regain his speed. Despite his disdain for the ‘original Wells’, Cisco has made connections with many of them. Both had been regulars during the Savitar arc of The Flash. So it makes some sense that both characters would, in essence, part ways with ‘Team Flash.’
Tom Cavanaugh and Carlos Valdez will no longer be regulars after this season of The Flash. But showrunners have a treat for fans of the series. The show will be introducing Bart Allen into the superhero fold. And will be played by Jordan Fischer. In addition, Team Flash will be seeing the return of Nora West-Allen. Those familiar with the show will remember her as the speedster Xcess.
We won’t have the same regulars on The Flash. But Nora West-Allen is a fan favorite of the show. And Bart Allen has gained a cult following in the comic book scene.
