Zombieland just won’t stay down as the series rises back from a long slumber with the first trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap.

Zombieland: Double Tap comes a decade after the original to put more of the undead back in the dirt. Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, and Woody Harrelson all reprise their roles for this latest comedy-action flick. Watch the trailer below!

Our band of survivors is now kicking it in the White House, but it’s the apocalypse so nothing good lasts long. They end up back on the road and meet new survivors on their latest adventure.

The cast of new faces sees Rosario Dawson playing the femme female Nevada along with Silicon Valley’s Thomas Middleditch as well as Luke Wilson. Wilson and Middleditch play the funhouse versions of  Tallahassee (Harrelson) and Columbus (Eisenberg).

Other new characters are the ditsy Madison played by Zoey Deutch and the new possible love interest named Berkeley played by Avan Jogia. Going off of what he was carrying in the Zombieland: Double Tap trailer, his name probably should have been Colorado.

The Boys are Back In Town

On top of the original cast, writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese return to pen the script for the sequel. They are accompanied by director Ruben Fleischer, who also shot the original. Fleischer shot Venom recently while Reese & Wernick wrote 2016’s hit Deadpool film.

The trailer doesn’t give too many plot details away, just a taste of the insanity to expect. An important detail it does give away is that Zombieland: Double Tap is coming out on October 18th.
