Just over a week after Dying Light 2 was released, developer Techland has announced the first DLC for the game, the peacekeeper-themed Authority Pack. The Authority Pack will be released in three parts. Each part will include different peacekeeper items that can be used in the game. The three parts make up a full peacekeeper uniform, complete with a new weapon when put together. Check out the trailer for the Authority Pack DLC below.

The first part of the Authority Pack, which gives players the peacekeeper jacket, cargo pants, and shoes, is available from today, February 14. There’s no release date for the second and third parts of the pack just yet. Here’s what Techland has to say about the clothes that players can claim for free from today.

Before Dying Light 2 was released, Techland announced that it would be supporting the game with five years worth of DLC updates. The Authority Pack is just the tip of the iceberg for what is to come in Dying Light 2. If the first game is anything to go by, there should be a mixture of free and paid DLCs for Dying Light 2. Techland hasn’t detailed its post-launch plans for Dying Light 2. The first game received a variety of free and paid item packs, new missions, and expansions such as The Following. Expect to hear more about Techland’s post-launch DLC plans for Dying Light 2 in the coming months.

The Authority Pack DLC announcement was met with a mixed reception from fans on social media. Some complained about Techland releasing DLC instead of fixes for the many glitches in the game. However, this DLC is likely made by an entirely different department from the one handling bug fixes and updates, so it is unlikely that it delayed anything.

The first part of the Authority Pack DLC for Dying Light 2 is available now.
