According to Michael Pachter, The Elder Scrolls VI is releasing as early as 2019 and for one particular reason.

Indeed, based on his forecast, the analyst says Bethesda Game Studios will be willing to recover as soon as possible from the Fallout 76 debacle.

“Elder Scrolls VI is coming in 2019,” Pachter told GamesIndustry in his usual prediction for the beginning of the year.

“The flop of Fallout 76 makes a hit more essential for Bethesda, and I expect them to accelerate development of ESVI.”

At the moment being, BGS has Fallout 76 post launch support to handle, and then there are teams focused on TES6 and Starfield.

A few weeks ago, we’ve reported of rumors according to which the studio would be having a hard time in managing all these projects together.

This, and the fact that we only have a teaser for the much anticipated RPG and that it was only revealed in 2018, leads us to believe that this prediction is one of those which is hard to stick with.
