The Elder Scrolls VI is most probably one of the titles in pre-production at Bethesda Game Studios but, as it will still take a little more time to do the preparation and the final announce, we won’t be told anything about that anytime soon.

Talking in the latest episode of the Game Maker’s Notebook podcast, game director Todd Howard joked around the secrecy of the project, telling he won’t even tell his own son about what’s next for the much beloved RPG series.

“[My youngest] was like, ‘Okay, when is Elder Scrolls VI coming?’. And I’m like, ‘Uhh, I’m not gonna talk about that right now either.’ He’s like, ‘Can I give you my ideas? Can I work on it? Come on, tell me a few things, I’m not gonna tell anybody.’ I’m like, ‘Well, you might, so I’m not gonna say anything’,” Howard explained.

Todd Howard has quickly become a celebrity in the video games industry, thanks to his work on the much appreciated The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4, which he directed at Bethesda Game Studios.

He’s now at the helm of all the studios part of the Bethesda Game Studios network, which has recently been joined by the former Battlecry Studios in Austin, Texas, in order to provide more developers for the multiple projects secretly being worked on.
