The Xbox One backwards compatibility library continues to grow at an exponential rate, with another slate of titles joining later this month.

The latest roundup of titles that you’ll soon be able to pop into your Xbox One and play is chock-full of some well-received classics and other iniquities that we couldn’t have guessed would be coming to the system any time soon.

On April 17, a considerable list of original Xbox games are being added to the list of backward compatible games:

  • Blinx: The Time Sweeper
  • Breakdown
  • Conker: Live & Reloaded
  • The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
  • Hunter: The Reckoning
  • Jade Empire
  • Panzer Dragoon Orta
  • SSX 3

Of the list, obvious standouts include The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Jade Empire, and Conker: Live & Reloaded, as well as the excellent Panzer Dragoon Orta. There’s an abundanace of fantastic role-playing games here, especially in the form of Morrowind, which is still massively popular despite the fact that we’re already all the way up to Skyrim now.

Another round of games are coming after next week’s tranche, with another drop of quality titles on April 26:

  • Destroy All Humans!
  • Full Spectrum Warrior
  • Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
  • MX Unleashed
  • Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory
  • Star Wars Battlefront
  • Star Wars Battlefront II
  • Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
  • Star Wars Jedi Starfighter
  • Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
  • Star Wars Republic Commando

This massive treasure trove of Star Wars titles includes fan-favorites like Battlefront, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Knights of the Old Republic II, and more. If you’re a shooter fan, you’re in for a real treat later in the month.

It seems that every time there’s a new backwards compatible content dump, the games on offer get better and better. If you’re still sitting on a collection of older titles that you want to keep in your rotation, you’ve got a lot to look forward to. Get ready to clear some time in your schedule for a marathon of Star Wars games.
