The Division 2 was revealed during Microsoft’s E3 press conference today, and this time, players will be teaming up in Washington D.C.

The sequel to The Division hinted at new story elements with a civil war within the area before revealing a gameplay trailer. The game is set to launch on March 15, 2019.

The gameplay trailer revealed players walking around a jungle-like area, a major departure from the first game’s city and snowy landscapes. Division agents rushed from the jungle into a nearby airplane to show off brand new abilities, enemies, and gameplay elements.

The existence of a second Division title has been known for awhile. In May, Ubisoft announced that a new game was coming in the future during the company’s quarterly earnings report. It issued a release window at the time, but didn’t reveal the specifics until earlier today.

Not much was revealed about the game during Microsoft’s press conference, but more information on the title is expected to be introduced during Ubisoft’s press conference tomorrow at 3pm CT.

For now, however, prospective players or interested fans can sign up to play the beta and get updates about The Division 2.
