When you’re running around Washington D.C. in The Division 2, you don’t want your Division agent not to look good. Unfortunately, most of the equipment you’re going to wear doesn’t change your agent’s overall clothing.

You have to rely on finding and looting apparel clothing, which was incredibly easy to loot in the first Division game. That’s not the case anymore. You have to go a little more out of your way to find these pieces of clothing, and sometimes many of your options are not guarantees. In this guide, we’re going to share with you the ways you can loot apparel items, along with where your inventory you’re going to change your clothing options.

Changing Your The Division 2 Agent’s Clothing

Where To Loot Apparel Clothing

We already created an in-depth guide for you to read to learn about where you can loot apparel clothing in The Division 2. You can read that over here.

In short, there are three ways for you to loot apparel clothing items: completing side quests, finding them inside of searchable containers in the street, and buying them from The Division 2 in-game store. If you loot the items off the road, you’re likely to find more common, and lower-tier items, compared to what you can purchase from the game’s store.

It’s important to remember that the apparel items do not change your character’s overall stats. These are appearance items, and other than making your agent look great, they do nothing else.

How To Change Your The Division 2 Agent’s Outfit

To do this, you need to open up your central inventory. You should see your weapons and different pieces of equipment, all of which affect your character’s stats. On the top right of the screen, you should see a small jacket icon next to the already highlighted backpack, which is your central inventory. Click on the jacket, and you should get taken to the apparel screen.

From here, you have the option to change your character’s hat, glasses, scarf, shirt, pants, the backpack trophy, shoes, mask, patch, emotes, and you can visit the apparel store to purchase the premium items using premium currency.

You can find complete outfits in the store, so every clothing piece your Division agent wears matches, and they can make the best fashion statement while they save Washington D.C.
