Striking Distance Studios has released the official launch trailer for The Callisto Protocol, giving a final look at some of the gameplay and story. The new trailer comes just ahead of its release on December 2. It also features an exclusive new track called ‘Lost Again’ by Kings Elliot.

Along with some gameplay, the launch trailer for The Callisto Protocol gives a look at the game’s story. You play as Jacob Lee, an inmate in a place called Black Iron Prison. When an outbreak throws everything into complete chaos, Jacob must find out the secrets of the United Jupiter Company while also dealing with his darkest fears.
The Callisto Protocol is a survival horror game that is reminiscent of the Dead Space series. It will focus on dark atmospheric levels to constantly give players a sense of tension. In combat, you will be able to shoot or chop off enemy limbs or force them into dangerous components to take them out.
Along with the release of the launch trailer, the fifth episode of the six-part audio series The Callisto Protocol: Helix Station has been released. This audio series serves as a prequel to the main game, following two skip tracers as they make their way to a bounty on the Helix Station in the Jovian system. The Callisto Protocol Gameplay Revealed at Summer Game Fest
The Callisto Protocol will release on December 2 for PlayStation, Xbox consoles, and PC. There are three different versions of the game you can pre-order. The Day One Edition gives you the Retro Prisoner Character Skin and two Retro Prison Weapon Skins. The Digital Deluxe Edition will give you the Season Pass for the game. Finally, The Collector’s Edition will include everything from the other two versions, a Jacob statue, a steelbook case, a copy of the TCP Comic #0, an Outer Way Collectable Pin, and a UJC Collectible Pin.
