We see Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and Homelander (Anthony Starr) posing behind the boardroom table in ‘The Seven’ Tower. We hear an ominous sound in the background as the press cameras click and flashes go off. Starlight stays solid in her pose, emitting confidence, while Homelander, on the other hand, keeps fidgeting in his place. The camera then points to Ashley Barrett (Colby Minifie), who looks very uneasy as the shoot is going on.

Ashley Barrett is the Senior Vice President of Hero Management for Vought. She took over the role in ‘The Boys’ Season 2 after the death of former VP Madelyn Stillwell (Elisabeth Shue). Unlike Stillwell, Ashley doesn’t hold the same control or respect for The Seven. As much as she tries, the Supes will continue to do whatever they want.

The clip continues as we shoot back to a close-up that zooms in on the two Supes. Starlight stays smiling and looks pretty normal compared to her counterpart. The camera then goes on to focus and zoom in on a disturbingly smiling Homelander. The pitch in the background gets higher and louder, coming to a screech the closer we zoom in on Homelander. His forced smile finally fades and his facade is broken. Our first look at Homelander for Season 3 of ‘The Boys’ gives us a look at how he can’t keep up his act anymore. We can visibly see that Homelander is gradually losing his mind.

Boom! The next frame appears with audio that sounds like white noise, but not the kind you’d want to fall asleep to unless you want nightmares. ‘The Boys’ logo pops up and then we get the release date announcement for Season 3. The tensely toned first teaser for Season 3 of ‘The Boys’ comes to a close. After the end of Season 2, we have a lot of mess in store for Season 3.
