While Hisui is full of new characters and variants, Pokémon Legends: Arceus doesn’t actually have that many brand-new Pokémon. In fact, there are only seven. So, rather than this being a normal top 10 list, we have ranked every single new Pokémon design from the worst to the best. And some of these designs are definitely better than others. Let’s take a look.

7. Ursaluna

I don’t often roast designs on these lists, but, put that thing back where it came from or so help me. I am not even sure what I am looking at. The name is really cool, the design is… uh, lowest on the list for a reason.

6. Overqwil

Overqwil is kind of strange, and the design could’ve been a lot better, especially the face. That said, the color schemes are pretty nice, in both the standard and shiny forms.

5. Enamorus

We were honestly kind of stumped with this one. The Incarnate Forme is pretty cool, but the Therian Forme is …weird. Very middle of the road.

4. Sneasler

Long friend. Just look at them. Tall and wiggly. This design is kind of silly, but we also kind of love it.

3. Basculegion

Basculegion is really a great design. We prefer the female base design and the male shiny over the other two, but all four designs are really solid. What a fantastic evolution for Hisuian Basculin. Well done, Pokémon.

2. Kleavor

Scyther already has a pretty cool evolution, so taking on an alternate evolution of a well-loved Pokémon isn’t an easy task. That said, they knocked it out of the ball park with this one. Kleavor is totally cutting-edge, pun intended.

1. Wyrdeer

And the number one spot goes to Wyrdeer. This Pokémon is the perfect evolution of Stantler, and just everything we love to see in a Pokémon. It isn’t overdone, but it isn’t boring. It’s majestic and looks amazing when players can ride it around the open world. This Pokémon really captures the spirit of Pokémon Legends: Arceus as a game, and definitely well-earned it’s number one spot.
