The second part of the Banner Saga series is set to launch later this month, though that hasn’t stopped the devs from releasing the launch trailer for the game ahead of the game’s release.
The trailer has a very ominous tone as characters battle and war ensues, with the game’s fantastic visual style being front and center. All of your choices made in the first game will carry over into the sequel, which will decide the fate of several characters.
“As the world continues to crumble around you, only one bastion of hope remains,” reads the game’s Steam description. “But getting there will require strong leadership, hard sacrifices, influencing new heroes, and, as always, sound strategy in combat.”
The Banner Saga 2 will launch on April 19th for PC, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions coming later in the year. Check out the launch trailer for the game below.
