The new action role-playing game The Ascent provides players with a huge list of quests to complete. Many of them are very straightforward, but there are a select few that are can be a bit confusing or present unclear goals. One of these unclear quests is called “Double Charge.” In Cluster 13, you can come across a character named Beezelchek who will task you with getting 10 Stasis Overcharge Kills. First-time players might be confused about what this type of kill is. Luckily this guide is here to explain it while also showing you how to get the Overcharge Kills in The Ascent quick and easy.
What is an Overcharge Kill in The Ascent?
To get overcharge kills, it is important to understand what overcharge kills are in The Ascent. There are a number of status effects that can be applied to enemies in the game, one of them being Stasis. This effect will stun an enemy and make them more susceptible to damage. When you kill an enemy that is under the effect of Stasis, you will be rewarded with an Overcharge Kill. To effect enemies with Stasis, you will need to go by a Stasis Drone.
These Drones can be found at the Cyber Vendor in Cluster 13 and can be bought for an expensive 22,000 uCreds. Once you get enough money, buy the Stasis Drone, head to an area with low-level enemies to ensure that once they are stunned, you will be able to easily kill them. Don’t want you to waste those drones. Killing enemies when they are stunned will cause them to explode and give you an Overcharge Kill. Do this 10 times and you will complete the quest. It’s that simple!
