The Ascent, the cyberpunk action RPG, is heading to PlayStation 4 and 5 in March. Publisher Curve Games announced today that the popular shooter would launch on PlayStation consoles on March 24th, 2022. Pre-orders are open now. As a pre-order bonus, players receive the RPEG 33 energy-type rocket launcher, including a laser sight in PlayStation‘s signature blue.

About the game
The Ascent, developed by Neon Giant, blends high-octane shooter action with a fully realized cyberpunk world. The 12 person development studio houses people who have previously worked on titles such as Gears of War and Wolfenstein. The game is also available on PC via Steam, Xbox consoles, and Xbox Game Pass.

Additional modes and DLC
In addition to The Ascent coming to PS4 and PS5, Neon Giant also brings New Game Plus and the Cyber Warrior DLC pack to Steam today.
New Game Plus unlocks after players complete their first playthrough. Battle tougher enemies with extra abilities and enemy projectiles that are much faster and harder to dodge. Not only do max levels increase to 30 and up, but weapon upgrades now go past Mk.10. The Cyber Warrior DLC pack includes 2 new weapons, 1 new tactical, 7 pieces of armor, and 3 new weapon skins.
