Publisher Klabater and developer Juggler Games announced today that the deck-building card game The Amazing American Circus is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch on May 20, 2021.
We’ve known about The Amazing American Circus since Juggler Games revealed it at the tail end of last year, but this is the first mention of a firm release date beyond a promised 2021 release. The announcement comes hand in hand with a brand spanking new gameplay trailer to showcase the game’s mechanics, hand-drawn environments, and unexplored 19th-century American circus setting.
To accompany the release date news, the Steam Game Festival – which started yesterday and runs until February 9 – features a PC demo for The Amazing American Circus, offering a quick sampler of what’s in store come May.

Rather than sticking to the tried and tested deck-building formula, The Amazing American Circus blends a mix of the tycoon genre and a sweeping narrative adventure to hold it all together. Think more Slay the Spire and Thronebreaker than Hearthstone.
