Teri Hatcher and James Tupper have been announced as the latest names to join Hallmark’s upcoming film Mid-Love Crisis. Hatcher and Tupper will be joined by Brian Markinson, June Laporte, and Matreya Scarrwener in the newest film by Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, reportedly set to be released this fall.

Mid-Love Crisis will feature Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives) as Mindy, a single mom who’s nearly 50 and realizing she’s solidly in the middle of a mid-life crisis – during a long weekend with her daughter Rita (June Laporte) and Rita’s girlfriend Emily (Matrya Scarrwener), Mindy unexpectedly runs into her old high school sweetheart Sam (James Tupper), who just so happens to be Emily’s uncle and single as well. However, anything that might have blossomed between Mindy and Sam is soon complicated when Rita tells Mindy that she wants her father to join them on vacation, putting both of Mindy’s exes under the same roof for the first time in decades.

Mid-Love Crisis will reportedly follow Mindy throughout an eventful weekend in which “Mindy finds herself not only embracing her life but discovering what it is she truly wants as she gets ready to start the next chapter.”
