Ahead of their upcoming jail terms, Teresa Giudice advises the Chrisleys on what to do while behind bars. Todd and Julie Chrisley, sentenced to 12 and seven years, respectively, are due to commence jail time in January. Meanwhile, RHONJ housewife Teresa generously gave the distraught couple some advice. Find out what she said below.
Teresa Giudice Advises Chrisleys On Spending Time In Jail
The Real Housewife of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, was with TMZ on Tuesday, December 20. While chatting, the outlet asked Teresa Giudice to advise the Chrisleys.
The TV personality, who also once served jail time in 2015 alongside now ex-husband, Joe Guidice, had some things to say. Teresa, who also served time for fraud, encouraged Todd and Julie Chrisley to spend time with their children.
Teresa added that a lot depends on their children visiting them, as her family did in her case. Meanwhile, she served for less than a year, while Todd and Julie will serve a cumulative 19 years.
The socialite admitted it would be more difficult in their case but encouraged them to work something out.
Teresa further revealed that her children visited her weekly while behind bars. She advised that the Chrisleys have their older children visit at least once a month “based on their schedule.”
The newly married star also said that manifesting helped her while she was in jail.
Teresa disclosed she passed the time by exercising, manifesting, and doing yoga daily. Moreover, Teresa said she wrote her book, “Standing Strong” when she was in prison. She also cooked, and the food wasn’t too bad where she stayed.
Todd And Julie Chrisley Remain Inconsolable
Unfortunately for the embattled Chrisley Knows Best stars who hoped for a Christmas miracle, none has come their way yet. HollywoodLife learned that the duo was “inconsolable” upon learning their respective sentences in November.
A source told the outlet that “the entire family was in complete shock, and they still are.” The insider added that the Chrisley family was hysterical, and everyone cried a lot as they couldn’t believe their ears.
Todd and Julie filed an appeal a few days ago and revealed they could no longer discuss the case. But, hopefully, the family does get a Christmas miracle.
