The latest tennis simulator from NACON and Big Ant Studios, Tennis World Tour 2, will be available for next-generation consoles Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 in March of 2021. This upgraded edition will include the base game, additional content, as well as gameplay improvements. Along with the next-gen announcement, Big Ant Studios also revealed its Annual Pass content roadmap:
- Annual Pass DLC #1, released back in September, added the Roland-Garros, OWL ARENA, Mutua Madrid Open stadiums, and Tie Break Tens tournament.
- Annual Pass DLC #2, available today, adds two new players: Sofia Kenin from the United States and Karolina Plíšková from the Czech Republic.
- Annual Pass DLC #3, available in January, will add Argentinean player Juan Martin del Potro and Belarusian Victoria Azarenka.
- Annual Pass DLC #4, available in March, will include a new tournament, eight unannounced players, new stadiums, gear, and clothing.
Tennis World Tour 2 was first released on September 23, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The Switch version was released a bit later on October 15. The game features multiple game modes such as Career, Quick Match, Online, Tournament, and Ranked Match and includes several official courts with 48 real-life players, among them Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Ashleigh Barty.
