The Tears of Themis Masterpiece of Seasons event runs from November 1, 2022, to November 11, 2022, and celebrates the release of Marius von Hagen’s first Sweet Chapter. It runs in conjunction with the Tideborne Romance Shadow of Themis rotation, which is a double SSR banner featuring Marius cards. To participate in the event, you must first complete the X-Note Main Story 2-28.

How to complete Daily & Event Tasks in the Masterpiece of Seasons event in tears of Themis

Marius’ Sweet Chapter is permanent, but the additional rewards—from S-Chips to a limited event Badge—can only be claimed during the event period. However, we recommend not rushing through the story, as you can’t redo and re-read parts you’ve already completed.

Head to the Masterpiece of Seasons event page under the rotating banner on the upper right of the screen, then select Tasks to get an overview of the Daily and Event Tasks.

These Tasks can only be completed inside the Sweet Chapter and are divided into two phases, the second of which unlocks on November 4. Click on the Masterpiece of Seasons button at the bottom right of the event page to begin playing through the Sweet Chapter.

The Sweet Chapter is set in the Stellis City system, so you’ll have to navigate around the areas specific to Marius’ story, such as the von Hagen Estate. The Daily Tasks reset alongside the server reset, so be careful and make sure to complete them on time if you want to get the rewards! You need to complete 28 Daily Tasks (7 days) to get all of the rewards, and there is no way to make up for missed days.

Tideborde Romance Shadow of Themis guide

The Tideborne Romance is a double SSR banner featuring two of Marius von Hagen’s cards:

  • SSR “Eye of the Beholder” (old)SSR “Tideborne Romance” (new)

The banner uses normal Tears of Themis and contains a 100-pull pity. Every time you pull, you’ll get x1 Trace of Tears that can be used to purchase card upgrade materials from the banner shop at the bottom left of the Vision page (expires after Tideborne Romance ends).

The pity system is a little different from usual. It will only reset when you get an SSR you don’t already own. For example, if you get SSR “Eye of the Beholder” at 40 pulls and didn’t have the card prior, pity will unfortunately reset. If you already owned it before, pity will not reset, and you can keep trying for SSR “Tideborne Romance” using the same pity counter. However, you are not guaranteed the SSR “Tideborde Romance” at pity.

“Tideborne Romance” is not an event-exclusive card. It will enter the Shadow of Themis rotational banners after the event ends. However, this event banner is a great way to target this card, especially if you already own “Eye of the Beholder.”
