Dreams of Childhood HoYoLuck event in Tears of Themis

NXX’s goal is to win the grand prize of HoYoLand’s HoYoLuck event. You’ll be tasked to gather clues to proceed with the event story.

The HoYoLuck clue-gathering event is divided into three stages.

  • Stage one unlocks automatically.Stage two will unlock on October 14.The last stage, stage three, will unlock on October 17.

You can view an epilogue after seeing all the clues and reading the “truths” related to Homu. You will only unlock the succeeding stages if you’ve discovered the “truth” in the preceding stage.

To obtain the clues, you’ll need to complete many daily tasks. Each completed task will also reward you with YoYo Vouchers that you can use to play the House of Childhood tile-flipping minigame.

Aside from the daily tasks, each stage will have one unique debate task for you to accomplish.

  • Stage one: Debate with Fare Evader one time in Main Story. He can be found in Main Story 02-05.Stage two: Debate with Shady Shopkeep one time in Main Story. He can be found in Main Story 03-14.Stage three: Debate with Line-Cutting Man one time in Main Story. He can be found in Main Story 04-02.

After obtaining all the clues in each stage, a story event chapter will unlock. Move to the main menu and go to The Truths to view them. 100 S-Chips will be rewarded for each fully completed stage. A Dreams of Innocence event badge will be rewarded after you’ve seen all four chapters.

What is the House of Childhood in Dreams of Childhood event?

House of Childhood is a 4x5 tile-flipping minigame that you can play to get a ton of rewards. You can access it by tapping the House of Childhood icon in the main screen’s upper right corner.

The two SR cards in the Dreams of Childhood event, Artem and Vyn, can only be obtained in this minigame. They’re not available in the Dreams of Childhood banner pool.

How to get more YoYo Vouchers in Dreams of Childhood event

Aside from obtaining clues, YoYo Vouchers can also be obtained in Homu’s Trials. Go to the Dreams of Childhood event main page to access it.

Battle of Wits recommended power levels:

  • Q&A Training one: 18,051Q&A Training two: 40,065Q&A Training three: 80,153Q&A Training four: 112,978

With a decently-upgraded deck, you can beat the Homu mascot in the Q&A Training four at a ~95,000 power level. Try the more challenging levels even if you don’t think you can. They reward more YoYo Vouchers.

After the Q&A Training level has been beaten once, you can clear it faster with the review function. Up to five Q&A Trainings are available every day. You will convert unused YoYo Vouchers to 100 Stellin after the event.

As long as you finish all of the event tasks and clear the daily Q&A Trainings with no misses, you’ll be able to flip all of the cards in the first pool. This means that you can potentially receive the Artem SR “Heart Listener” card for free.

Whether or not you get the Vyn SR “Entangled in Love” card for free is up to luck. Of course, if you really want the card, you can spend S-Chips and pray.

How to beat Dreams of Childhood event Brain Challenge

Homu’s Trials also has another part called Brain Challenge. Brain Challenge will not reward you with any YoYo Vouchers, but you do get S-Chips when you clear them.

40 S-Chips are rewarded for clearing levels one to three. An event-limited commemorative namecard will be rewarded when level four has been cleared.

You can only use one type of card to debate each Homu.

As you can see, they’re pretty tough—so plan your decks well. Evolve your R cards if you need to. They can be placed in your Support Deck for the extra influence and defense.

Remember: all the extra S-Chips that you win in the Dreams of Childhood might also come in handy during Tears of Themis’ upcoming Bewitching Night Rave Halloween event.

Next Thesis of Themis event: Bewitching Night Rave

The Bewitching Night Rave event will feature Werewolf Luke, Vampire Vyn, Devil Marius, and Android Artem.

MR cards have lower power levels than SR cards, but they’re event exclusives that will never appear in the bi-monthly rotation pool. If you want all four MR cards, you must have 7,200 S-Chips saved. We’ll post more details when the event starts!
