The Taylor Swift Ticketmaster crisis is far from over. Two senators, including Amy Klobuchar (D-Mn.) and Mike Lee (R-Ut), confirmed witnesses as ticketing agency executives to face the senate Judiciary subcommittee. Since her days as a teenage singer Grammy winner, Taylor Swift has been relentless, as she continues to serenade fans with heartwarming tunes.
Last year, there were speculations about when she would get on the road after releasing her Midnight song in October. It was later confirmed that the singer would be on “The Eras Tour” in March and end in August.
Lovers of the singer did not waste time in requesting an exclusive presale on Ticketmaster, snapping up the whole inventory but that led to the cancellation of sales tickets as there was an increase in demand.
Simultaneously, the Ticketmaster website suffered service failures and delays, leaving fans devastated. However, it sparked up a new procedure. The Taylor Swift Ticketmaster crisis occurred in November, but U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-Mn.) and Mike Lee (R-Ut.) are not letting it slide after fans sued the ticketing company.

Taylor Swift Ticketmaster Crisis Hearing Scheduled
Klobuchar and Lee plan on having the big bosses from leading ticketing agencies at the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee Hearing. They intend to assess the ticketing industry and the concert powerhouse, Lion Nation under the theme “That’s the Ticket: Promoting Competition and Protecting Consumers in Live Entertainment.”
Some of the witnesses in this hearing include Jerry Mickelson, CEO, and President, of JAM Productions, and Kathleen Bradish, Vice President for Legal Advocacy, the American Antitrust Institute. Sources are yet to ascertain what the hearing will achieve, but there are certainly going to be accusations from those displeased about Ticketmaster’s recent failure.
Before Taylor Swift’s Ticketmaster crisis, fans showed that they were extremely disappointed with the cancellation of ticket sales. This led them to slam a lawsuit against a website. Last year, country crooner Zach Bryan made his frustration with the website public.
He mentioned being “done” with Ticketmaster because they altered his plan following the release of his surprise album. He was vocal about his irritation for the cancellation of said ticket prices explaining that working-class people should not have to pay through their noses to see his show.
