TAPE: Unveil the Memories, a new psychological horror title, is coming to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and Steam in April. The game is a first-person, narrative-driven adventure set in Spain in the 1990s. In TAPE: Unveil the Memories, players have a unique tool at their disposal: a Super8 camera. With this camera, you can rewind, pause, and speed up time to find clues about your father’s disappearance.

Not to mention, this is the debut game by Madrid-based BlackChiliGoat Studio, developed in collaboration with PlayStation and the PlayStation Talents Program.

Players can wishlist TAPE: Unveil the Memories on Steam, PS4, and PS5 now. Take a look at the reveal trailer below.

About the game

In TAPE: Unveil the Memories, you play as Iria, a girl who is trying to recover her lost memories to solve the mystery of his dad’s disappearance. The game challenges players to use the time manipulation mechanics to solve puzzles. Using the Super8 camera reveals objects hidden from the naked eye. The camera belonged to her father, a famous horror movie director. The story of Iria and her family is linked to Galician society in the 1990s, as well as to horror cinema and the influence it had on her.

Escape the nightmares that haunt Iria’s memories while exploring eerie locations influenced by her dad’s past works.
