Tamar Braxton has been hospitalized as she experienced a health scare during the week amid battling the flu. The 45-year-old singer was taken to the hospital in an ambulance as she experienced some health difficulties.

On Friday, the Braxton Family Values star posted about the news on her Instagram. The reality star had written that “This isn’t an attention post… this is an ATTENTION post.” Braxton then explained how it was so surreal to be rushed to the hospital a day after she spent time with her friends, @fireankgyamfi, and @wardellmalloy, doing some Christmas shopping and having fun.

The multiple award winner explained that she thought God was taking her home because she was unable to breathe and needed oxygen; Her chest “was on FIRE!!”

The If I Don’t Have You singer, Tamar Braxton, was hospitalized in Atlanta, where she had great nurses and doctors attend to her. Married to Medicine star Dr. Jackie Walters was amongst the doctors who attended to Braxton.

Tamar Braxton was diagnosed with the FLU. In her Instagram post, the TV personality expressed how she thought the FLU was even “worse than COVID.” The singer is on “5 different medications” to help her health get to a better state.

The reality star also revealed that she is in isolation because the FLU is contagious. In addition to her post on Instagram, Braxton shared a clip of her hanging out with her friends prior to the health scare, then shared a selfie of her in the hospital. The juxtaposition of both scenarios made the singer give people some advice on how to stay healthy this season.

The Love and War singer advised people to be as careful as possible during this holiday season. Tamar Braxton did not know how she came in contact with the FLU. This was because she was not in contact with many people, so she advised, “enjoy y’all holiday AT HOME.. u don’t want this.”
