While we have known that Tales of Berseria would be getting its Japanese release in August of this year, we didn’t know what the release window would be for other regions until now. Bandai Namco has announced that they are working hard to get the western releases of the game ready for early 2017.

The news was revealed by producer Yasuhiro Fukaya during a recent event, which also came with new information regarding the game. Voice acting options will include both English and Japanese, as well as subtitles that will be available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Russian.

They also revealed that they took some of the criticisms that they got from Tales of Zestiria to heart, which mainly were regarding that game’s poor battle camera. Bandai Namco aimed to fix that with the new Liberation Linear Motion Battle System (LIMBS).

Perhaps the biggest news that will put a smile on a lot of faces was the announcement that the game will run at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second.

Tales of Berseria will launch in Japan on August 18th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC, though when it launches in other regions in early 2017 it will only be available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
